Beyond lame. What other sport has playoffs for the teams that missed the playoffs. And another set if you missed those...and another!! :lol:

NCAA football and all their terrible bowl games.

Well, it is good for the small schools who get to play in it who otherwise only get one team in the NCAA tournament.

I don't understand what is wrong with playing a regular season and then a conference tournament. That's your season right there. NCAA is a bonus for teams that have EARNED something special (at least in theory).

that's what used to make me excited for march madness. recently it just seems more arbitrary and contrived, and i haven't really cared much. but go purdue.
