Any time that Mac, Jurko, and Harry are together talking about the Bulls or NBA without Stacey King. Every time they talk about the NBA it seems forced, and is therefore unlistenable.

I noticed in your first post, it said July, but since has been edited. If you're referring to my time in the penalty box, I said that nasty thing I said in late June and was off the air until July 25 or something like that.

It cost me a lot of money in salary -- and who knows what in bonuses -- but I also enjoyed the time off to do stuff around the house, spend extra time with my kids and the wife, etc. It sucked to be in Canada trying to relax with my sons, a buddy and his son, with that looming, but it was a fair trade. I regret only two things: promulgating my rep as a problem child, disappointing my audience and co-workers.

We will start getting after these Year End posts on Tuesday's show.

Good to see so many of you guys at Harry Caray's today. Good camaraderie among many in this group. It's cool.

I got a call from a radio survey group yesterday. You owe me Mac.

They said I may be chosen as one of those people who helps to create the flawed numbers.

I think that should read
Worst Commercial on Radio: Wendy's Air Supply Burger and Miller High Life "Am I living the High Life?"

I disagree Jason. I like the Miller commercial, especially when my guy is like "Bistro? What is a Bistro? Never mind, NEXT CALLER!"......

Harry Carey's had a $10.95 cheeseburger on the menu....
Were we living in the High Life yesterday?

Thumbs down to Miller Lite free t-shirt label promotion. We were like 1 for 33 or something by the time I left.

A few years back, I was with some buddies at the House of Blues for a concert. We parked and started walking around looking for a place to eat dinner. We went into Harry Caray's and grabbed a table in the bar... not the dining room... the bar. I cant't speak for city establishments, but most of my usual lowly suburbanite joints typically offer menus in the bar which may include less extravagant entrees. Well, the menu on the HC bar, did not. Everything was the same as the dining room... and very pricey. We started packign up to go find another place, and the waitress inquired if there was something wrong. I politely explained the situation and asked if they had any kind of "bar menu" and she gave me this really snotty "Fatha!" type attitude which translated to "hell no or you crazy."

I'm sure Haray Caray's is a fine restaurant if you're looking to blow a big wad on pasta and italian food, but I'll just say my first encounter didn't leave me a good impression.

No, Haray Caray's is not a place to live the high life.

I'm sorry did you say 10.95 or 1.95?

10.95 for a hamburger?! Harry Caray's must be crazy....

I'm with you on that - I have drank Miller Lite just for the chance to win over the past 3 weeks and haven't sniffed a free t-shirt. It's only a shirt but come on Miller Lite.

That's because they use that free-range organic Black Angus beef. That stuff costs more.

Most Improved – ESPN Radio 1000’s Noon to 2PM Timeslot

Sportswriter – Jay Mariotti writes the most interesting and well written columns in the city every year. He’s a winner. Anyone who bitches about him is a loser. I’m looking at you Nas.

Best feel good story – Mac asking if Harry and Woodridge Ryan had patched things up after a fight about booze, gays, and a girl. When Harry answered yes all was right with the world again.

Creepiest story - Anytime Marc Silverman talks about his body being like an Adonis. Just makes me sick.

Signature moment – The Gridiron Assassin e-mailing into the show.

Low point – The Gridiron Assassin e-mailing into the show.

He’s a loser. I’m a winner.
