Apparently the account was suspended because of trademark infringement by using that red bird. Better be careful, Gloop. Anyway, Julie seems oblivious to the fact that her Zero Safety account is an outright attack on the platform that provides her the opportunity to reach hundreds of thousands of people. It's almost like starting a "Zuckerberg sucks" group on Facebook. In a much larger sense, this illustrates the problem with the consolidation of the web into a handful of very powerful sites. These aren't public spaces. Our rantings in this forum exist at the pleasure of bigfan, slumlord, and Nas. Julie's rantings on Twitter are subject to the administration of the people who own the site.

She is pretending that the negative attention she received was simply because she reported on the Patrick Kane case when it was actually the misleading, unethical way she reported on the case that got her the negative attention.

She's either too dense to realize that or chooses to ignore it because she otherwise can't play the role of the perpetual victim.

She needs to proof read that article. The first sentence is not properly written.

Also, I like how she frames this as some kind of women's issue. As if the only reason these women are getting mean comments is that they're women; as if they're receiving "harassment" for no reason whatsoever, and people were tweeting them out of the blue, simply because they looked female in their twitter pics. Fucking please. You think Bernstein gets fewer mean comments than Julie does on twitter? I fucking doubt it. this situation is the perfect summation of this lady's existence.

"twitter suspended the account because they don't care about abuse!" when in actuality its due to actual copyright law you would think any type of respectable lawyer would know about. Copyright is remedied, "Our voices will not be quieted...we were victorious!"

The Bullshit part of this is that some of the "Mean Comments" are just tweeted on someones profile. Not tweeted AT a female, so if you don't like it don't follow that person!
