Off the top of my head, Blake Wheeler is having a far better season than Toews is, by the way. Kopitar also gives you equivalent two-way production without a boat-anchor cap hit, people just denigrate him because he's a Slovene and Toews is a Good Canadian Boy. If Kopitar were from Ontario, he would get all the praise Toews gets and more.

Is this why Jagr isn't higher in the hockey royalty pecking order???

Basically. Jagr is superior to Messier at this point but no one who counts is ready to say it. Jagr gets crap for being a bad teammate at times in Pittsburgh, but nobody talks about the time Messier went to Vancouver and singlehandedly set the organization back years by being a pouty bitch.

Uh, how was that an onside play???

Either way, giving up two goals at this point sucks.

How many 6-0 leads have been lost in NHL history? I assume pretty rare.

Not that it's gonna happen here, right?

Another example of passing instead of shooting (Teuvo), and then a dumb penalty (Teuvo).

Ask CH.

In his mind the game is already lost.

And then again, I don't get how you can call a trip and an embellishment at the same time :?

Dumb NHL rules.

Kind of makes sense if he was tripped yet still tried to OVER SELL it. But what do I know?

CSFMB: Nothing.

Beardown: Thanks.

Well, Doc just answered my question. No team in the history of the NHL has rallied from 6-0 to win a game. But I wonder if any team got to a tie.

The Hawks flipped the switch today. Then flipped it right back off again. Even on a great day, they get dinged for four or five goals.

43 shots for the Bruins. Holy shit, that's a lot.

Is it possible to win by 2 goals and be outplayed? I think that might be the case today.

The answer is yes. Let's get a final score first.

67 shot attempts on the day for Boston. Hawks peaced out on the game with a 6-0 lead, Bruins needed to win the game, is what it is, I guess.
