That shot by Seabrook goes in 99% of the time. Elliot is on fire.

We were a close double post away from it being tied right now.

He made 30 saves in the first game, didn't he?

I don't think he's a great goalie, but he's having the series of his life right now, as Mike Smith did in 2012. Hawks could be going down very quietly in the next two games if this score holds.

I agree with Mr. Hair. This series is over.

Hawks played well overall, but two costly mistakes in the third...

100/104 in the series for Elliott. Our roster isn't up to this.

Blues have the hottest Goalie and the best defense in the NHL right now.

Caller Bob Hair is happy.

It'll be 4-1. For all the talk about mental midgetry from the Blues, once the Hawks know they can't beat a goalie, they shut down, too. See also: Hutchinson last year, Stars platoon this year, Varlamov every year

Don't most goalies have stats like that when they win?

Best Roster On Paper is staring down the barrel of a clean sweep if the league doesn't pass this dumbshit challenge rule last summer. We gave up a lot of assets to look this outmatched.

Do most NHL goaltenders in Dead Puck Era II make 44 saves in a game? No, you'll find that they don't.

Well, here's hoping the Islanders can get to the third period tonight and not piss all over themselves.

I don't know that they were terribly outplayed. The Blues complained and got their way, and then the Kane penalty killed us. One of their goals was a bad bounce and that double post one for us was unfortunate. Rozsival sucks but we knew that.

You know what the Blues did in the third period?

They flipped the switch.

It is perfect for CH.

It is as if the Hawks have never been down in a series before.

Every year it is the same exact thing. One loss and CH proclaims it is finished. Last year it was finished before the puck was even dropped with Minn. Hell was coming to breakfast bullshit.

I continue to believe in the Hawks. They are fine. There is a lot of hockey left to play in this series. Should they have won this game? Yes. But they are far from out of it.

I dunno, I think we could be sitting here Thursday night, laughing at ourselves for thinking a team with 14th forwards like Richard Panik and Tomas Fleischmann could ever get out of a single series.

I dunno, when you predict a team will lose every fucking series for 7 years you will occasionally be correct.

I think the Hawks are screwed too. I mean Crow is playing pretty well considering the layoff. Old man river is the only one fucking up out there. These are all overtime/close games and to piss one sucks. I think I would still play old man river in game 4 but I would limit him to 5 or so minutes. 2, 7 and 4 better be ready to play their dicks off. Rundbad scares me too much. He might be faster than Rozsi but he could just fuck up for no reason at all.

Stephen Johns would look good on this roster right about now. Shame about Patrick Sharp fucking other people's wives. And on that note, even if the Hawks manage to stop letting a 1B goalie rock a .962 sv% against them, they don't have a path past the Stars, who made the Hawks look like they didn't even belong in the NHL on the nights they played.

I'm surprised the sucky ass sucks even made it this far. Bettman should just end this series by fiat.
