Score employees have struggled mightily with reading words off a page for years. Probably from day one. Stuff like "the Red Sox have traded Brendan Donnelly to the Red Sox" and "come meet the Score's Anne Maxfield between 12 and noon" is just the kind of stuff that makes the Score the Score, I guess.

There are multiple errors in the Daily Herald every day where is it obvious no one is proof reading what is printed. You'll see things as silly as the Score in the headline not match what is printed in the body of the article.

Thankfully, with our office move Im not right next to the TV anymore. I dont mind CNBC and Bloomberg but 50 hours a week is a bit much.

You make a solid point. I guess no one cares.

I am with you. It's good for about an hour, and then you realize that they just dramatize everything like CNN. Nice to catch up on the day's news, and then move onto something else.

Me too. Plus Wyoming is the prettiest state I've ever driven through. I could get used to looking at that scenery from the back porch of the governors mansion. Sure beats living at Epcot Center.

What is the bathroom policy at Disney World? Transgender policy there too? Must be nice for the kids, if so.

If they don't have that policy, then they are huge hypocrites for firing Shilling.

does Julie simply not grasp the concept that someone who is blocked can log out and still view her PUBLIC twitter timeline? does someone need to explain the difference between private/public?

I think the failed lawyer is too slow to grasp that concept. It would take years to explain it to her.

She knows this. Her response was to Tweet to @Support and tell them that it was a problem. It's probably why @ZeroSafety was created. Funny thing is that the doughnuts that she drops on the floor of her train are a much bigger threat to her personal safety.

One of the funniest things is how her and her husband tweet as if they are only twitter acquaintances. I will @you about a topic relevant to the discussion. And I will @you in return with a frivolous quip back to share our banter.

Matt Rodewald and Julie DiCaro are on the Score all afternoon, if you're interested.

They both keep forgetting to open their mics.

Ok. So DiCaro says that Thom Brennaman had a nasty divorce from the cubs.
Ok. I don't remember it like that. In fact I remember them trying to get him back maybe after the chip caray disaster. I could be wrong. I'd never say it on an open mic before checking it out.
Anyway, a caller calls in and say he doesn't know where she got that. He said that Thom wanted to do fox games on the weekend but wgn needed him for the weekend games as they're the most watched. They needed someone to call 150 games. He left amicably. And was possibly invited back a few years later.
Julie says something to the effect like well I'm hearing this from people in the industry so that's what I've heard. She couldn't let it go. She had to try to defend herself. And I remember it more like the caller said.
Maybe one of the older guys can shed some light on it
UT again... check your sources before just saying stuff. Then... own it... don't just claim that's what you've heard and that makes it ok.

I don't know, we've talked about bad blood between Thom and the Cubs on this board for years.

What in the sam hell is wrong with Mitch putting this shit on the air? Julie has no business on the air and Rodey is a smug little bitch who acts like he's all that. Hell is coming to breakfast with the Score once CBS sells its radio business.

Rodewald and Julie is troll-the-CSFMB radio if ever there were such a thing.

Julie was actually quite reasonable in matters of Hawks, though.

Thom left because he wanted to do national broadcasts. I remember it well. Thom had Harry's blessing also because Caray wanted him to stay and perhaps take over after he was gone. This was before Chip even had a shot at the Cub job at all and we all know that happened because he was Harry's grandson.

Sometimes I wish we could have Pat Hughes do the middle innings on TV like Brennaman did. Ideally, we'd just have a simulcast.

The hypocrisy of trying to get away with "mansplaining" and "manologue" is astounding, and the mental gymnastics these people must do to ignore holes in their theory is quite impressive.

How does one reconcile the alliance between the identity-politics left and the neoliberals at Vox, a site consisting of nothing but men explaining things? What an election year.

Does this article dare to suggest that men and women are different? Here's an idea...speak the fuck up!
