Thank you, CH. This ranks up with Nas's Jay Cutler bit.

I can totally respect CH. I have that same feeling most of the time. I'm just really working hard on being positive because this team deserves every bit of it.

It pains him to play negative, but he does it for you.

 I have contemplated that. But I just can't buy it. It would be quite the deal tho if that were true

They're ahead. All they have to do is drop back and cause missed and blocked shots.

Yeah because sitting back and playing not to lose works in the playoffs.

Nobody can enjoy being that wrong that often.

I employed this very same bit in the 2012 White Sox season.

It hurt.

With the right personnel, yes, it does. The 2010 Habs knocked the President's Trophy Capitals out with it. The Rangers under Tortorella went to a conference final doing it, as did the Coyotes, who got past the Blackhawks with it. So it can get you deep, but not to the championship.

The Hawks were VERY luck to get through that last shift without a goal against.

Blues trying to hit their way back in, because as they know from years of success, it works. Dopes.

The Blues owe a great deal of success in this series to preventing the Hawks from setting up an extended scoring chance.

Big physical teams with less skilled players do that, it's what they do and what they know. But as the game goes on, they are the ones that get worn down and tired.

Or, simple tight defense.

The point being, the Blues have enough talent to not have to resort to delivering hits just because they can. When they have to start taking runs to attempt to change the flow, it hasn't worked as much as (your coined) "six-goalie" defense and swarming offense. Those hits they deliver take their toll on themselves as well; they can't sustain that physicality.
