the first time i heard them together, on thanksgiving, for whatever reason i kept missing when they'd give their names. they both sound like a classmate from columbia (and also a teammate of mine on the chicago tigers) who interned at the score for a while, so i was very confused. on one hand, i thought "hey, great job," and on the other "how are there two of you?"

Someone please tell Matt that yelling isn't necessary. Being loud doesn't make your argument anymore valid.

It does sound like Wayne's World though.

I listened to the first 45 minutes of the show on Monday. I loved it when they called the Bears first possession of the game, "The Drive of the Year". I almost fell off of my chair, since they had spent almost all of the time leading up to this comment berating the offense's performance in the game. It was "Pick a Lane" radio. They contradicted themselves on more than one occasion. A truly painful listen.

Rock's point about the Blackhawks' attendance is off the mark. It's their largest crowd in six years, making your comparison to last year's game with Boston somewhat misleading.
At this point last year, the Blackhawks were 14-18-6. Now they're four games over .500 and just two points out of a playoff spot. If they continue their recent slide, I'll agree with the overhype statement.
They have four players in the top 60 in scoring, not awful. Kane and Toews appear worthy of their hype -- at this point. Kane is in the top 20 in assists, while Patrick Sharp is in the top 20 in goals.
IMO, your shouting seems like a lot of hot air right now.
As for the Mike Martz love. St. Louis -- Holt and Bruce; Detroit -- Williams and Johnson; Bears -- Berrian, Moose and Hester. You can't make chicken salad out of chicken sh#t. You need players. Webby and Rock were correct in pointing out the Bears' draft struggles on offense. If those things don't change, how can anyone expect a move to Martz to be an effective step.
