She's the female version of drinky. The party side at least. She's smarter than drinky. Who isn't?

I'll say this, if Sarah and drinky were to procreate they would make the ultimate frat boy or frat girl.

I think it is. I think she's only against the objectification of women when she's on the air. When she's at the club, she's all for it.

Christ. She has issues.

She's funny. I'm funny, too. Everybody here should know that I'm funny. I'm funny.

I'm funny.

She should just be happy where she is. She was hot and got some jobs because of it and now she's pretty successful. Why does she feel the need to justify it all?

Also, what is a WAG or SEO optimization? I'm not too bright.

Not sure about WAG, but SEO is "Search Engine Optimization".

It's a cleaned up way to decribe how an article about the banal inferences to steroid usage in the face of Jake Arrieta's dominance gets a title like "IS JAKE ARRIETA ON STEROIDS?" or "JAKE ARRIETA STEROID SPECULATION" instead of "Arrieta's dominance drives speculation". Or, how the thumbnail of an article or video gets a picture of a woman proudly displaying the cleavage of her giant boobs.

Like Skip Bayless. Skip is a humanoid SEO machine.

maybe this has been asked, but since it's on for the cubs rain delay, i wonder if sarah spain and julie dicaro don't even recognize "fantastic lies" 30 for 30.

you know the accuser of that case wound up going to jail for second degree murder in 2013.

They do, they despise it, but not because it is evidence of how powerful false accusations of rape can be, but because they see it as the impetus for people to be skeptical of all accusations of rape.

Yes.

That was simply an outlier that Bros will now use to justify their misogynistic "innocent untitled proven guilty" crap.

Yeah I just saw this for the first time because of the delay. The fucking media is something else.

Most of the media in that case apologized for rushing to judgement and being wrong.

Our intrepid experts simply double down on the narrative.

Which is why it's laughable they consider themselves journalists.

they'll live and die on the "doesnt mean he's innocent" argument for all of time. But theyll never admit that they think he should have to stand trial to prove himself innocent.

i have to give sarah spain some credit... isntead of simply whining about the chapman trade (JDC) she at least outlines what she thinks needs to happen with DV players.

http://espn.go.com/espnw/voices/article ... raded-cubs

The only thing about the plan she laid out that concerns me is what if the DV accusation is indeed 100% bullshit... a player has to go through all that "rehab" crap just because an accusation is made? I guess some type of caveat is needed for DV cases where no charges are filed... where all that "rehab" would be optional not required by MLB.

Caveat should be that the player gets to tell everyone to go fuck themselves.

I have a idea. Why not let the legal system and the real world deal with athletes when it comes to all issues like this. Whether it is DV, DUI, drugs or whatever. Let the legal system do its thing and then let the team keep the player if they decide to after that or not. They can either be socially higher than others or they can live with the flashback.

doesn't that say something about people like Dicaro though when they say it will make rooting for the Cubs "difficult" and talk like that....if it really bothered you that much, if you had that much of an issue...wouldn't you simply stop consuming the product ? Not watch any more games, buy product, etc. Wouldn't that truly be taking a stand ? it's like they're talking out of both sides of their mouths

yea I'll watch and root....it'll just be less enjoyable

Pretty much. Lot of talk on twitter and facebook. Not so much walk in the talk.

According to the SJW bible what is the correct percentage of less enjoyment?

so, again, that accomplishes absolutely nothing

i'm not saying 1 person not buying tickets or merch will cause the Cubs to go bankrupt, but isn't that how you as a consumer make your voice heard ?

A B and B bootlicking caller said he would not watch the 9th inning of Cubs games now in protest. So problem solved.

I do find Spain's transition from jersey chasing, cleavage showing sports babe, to very, serious women's issue writer to be amusing at best.

Those bad optics from poor ninth inning ratings surely will yield a Chapman release. Great job, Maddux Boy.

She had to do that for her career, though, because of the patriarchy.

Even though there is a large number of women who are FAR more successful than she is who did not do that...she had to do it.
