Great start to this show by your boy Jason Goff. He has no thoughts on any players and neither does anyone else, cause no one watched the film on these guys. Everyone could be good or everyone could suck. He bounced on the draft pretty early because he needed to "be with the people."

Spiegs tried to walk him back since, you know, talking Draft should be a big part of today's show.

PFTB.

He was planning and executing a surprise party for his mom. I would say that's more important than the draft. Maybe it's due to the team I root for and my lack of interest in all things NCAA, but I couldn't give a flying fuck about the NFL draft. Wake me up in August. That's when I start paying attention to football again.

I find the draft more exciting than the games.

Spiegs just went in hard on Goff. "Why did I bother doing all this draft prep for you to come in and downplay it from the open??" Tried to laugh it off, but you could tell he was pissed.

He could spend 15 minutes reading up on it and appear moderately knowledgable. I dont give a fuck either but a sports radio host probably should.

GOFF: Let me tell you why I'm excited about the Braverman pick.

SPIEGS: But you didn't watch any Western Michigan film, but by all means, tell us why you're excited.

GOFF: We gon' do this now?

(Barely dramatized.)

how does a guy who doesn't care about sports or his job wind up in such a position? talk about messed up management over there...

That's only been the story of the Score since the very beginning.

He was on some Fox show last night. (Posted a nice selfie from the studio) I imagine they covered the draft.

Yep. He said that they asked him if the Bears' draft was a "B." He said, "Yeah...sure." Laughed on the radio about it...pulled a fast one on Fox.

At the very least, read up or watch some youtube clips of the first couple of Bear picks. That's not asking too much is it?

On a side note, I bet Mac still hasn't seen John Wall play.

They've driven me to ESPN 1000 starting at 9:00. It's bad programming, but at least the side show BS is gone. Plus Kap had Thibs on today. It was the slurp fest that Boyd refers to.

Speaking about radio guy's who dont care about sports, B&B are talking draft now. Terry says we dont know anything about any of these guys. They could be good, they could be bad.

What riveting analysis Terry.

He didn't watch it "because he had a feeling Pace would screw it up".

Mike go ahead and send Terry a note that I didn't listen to his show because, "I had a feeling he'd screw it up."

Not even that. Read one article on the top 3 guys and one review of the entire draft. Should take about 7 minutes.

He'd be good to go with that.

Terry is allowed to do that. Its part of his schtick. He's probably funnier being uninformed.

Is there someone on Kiss FM that could point to Spiegel to let him know it's his turn?

In the past Spiegel has been oversensitive but in this case I think he's justified in being pissed at his cohost. Goff thinks people find it cute that he's unprepared and doesn't seen to care. Maybe he's angling for a job on the WGN Morning News?

See, I think Curious Hair has pegged Goff correctly. He's absolutely a sports nerd. He watches and loves it all.

It's just when he gets on the air he wants to play the "I'm too cool for this sports stuff". That's kind of become a thing at the SCORE. Or Goff will say, "I just do it for my job".

No. Goff would watch all this sports shit if he didn't have the radio show.
