damn, Penguins came out gunning, outshot the Caps 11-1 at the beginning. Didn't get any goals til the 2nd.

1-0 Pittsburgh on

28 -10 shot advantage

5 to 1 PP chances advantage

0 for 5 on the PP tho.

weird game.

This pens-caps series has been nuts. If you do not watch you do not like hockey.

Blues win it in OT on their 2nd PP of the OT. Ended up being a 5-3 situation as one of the Stars on the PK on the ice took a shot and was out of commission when the final goal was scored, it looked like.

It's painfully obvious that the Preds can't hang with the Sharks. 1-0 SJ after almost two periods of scoreless hockey.

The Sharks gotta lead the league in beard length.

By cracky...or the trombone, whichever you prefer.

If ever there was a year when the NHL needed the Hawks going deep in the playoffs it is this year. With the Rangers out in the 1st, and maybe the Isles out in the 2nd, other than Pittsburgh and maaaaybe St. Louis, the remaining teams arent exactly from what you would call hockey hotbeds. Whats left is a whole lot of meh.

Gotta be a record this year for OT playoff games. I stayed up last night for the Sharks vs Preds doubleheader.

Long ass game, esp for two teams destined to lose in the conference finals, should they make it that far.

Ovechkin, I get, but fuck Barry Trotz and his years of unwatchable hockey.

But this year is different. The Caps are watchable.

It's been a good series. Normally not a Caps fan but you are right. Something is different. Is hie is still a dick though.

CH's man crush John Tavares goes pointless in the last 4 games of the series vs Tampa. 1 goal and 2 pts on the series.

Where ya at CH? Shouldn't you be calling him a quitter and proclaiming he is washed up and finished?

Wow, talk about some dud Game 7s - first Dallas takes it up the ass, then the Perds.

I'm all about the Sharks at this point - I hope they fucking puree the Blues.

Hasn't bothered them. Pens can't get going at all. Every time down 3-4 lightning players are back and ready.

Ryan Callahan gonna be suspended next game.

No Bishop, No Stamkos, No Callahan....

what's Tyler Johnson's deal? Seems like he's always on the verge of an injury

Not sure he's suspended. Letang is playing.

Callahan left his feet, lead with his elbow/forearm for a direct hit to Letang's noggin--and Letang appeared to be out cold on the ice after.

Not sure how Letang can be let back in the game after being unconscious.
I think Callahan's going to be suspended, the question is how long.
Callahan's a dirty player but has he been suspended for it before.
