Someone tried to open an Arepa place right across the street from Redmonds. Went in and there was an Arts and Craft party going on with Moms and Daughters. I was standing at the counter for a few minutes and then one of the ladies finally got up and asked if I needed some help?

I asked if this was a "do it yourself" Arepa place? She didnt catch the comedy fastball and answered with a "No, we make the food"

I ordered 2 Arepas which took like 20 minutes as they were just not setup to prepare food, which seemed really weird. This was in November or December, so dont even know if the place lasted or its still there?

Customer Service is Dead.

There are a lot of vanity businesses out there where high earning husbands fund something so their wives can tell the neighborhood that they are not a housewife (cough SQNEvents cough).

Venezuelan Bowl in downtown Joliet's not too bad.

If you're in Panama City I would strongly recommend El Gran Rincón Venezolano - right near the Via Argentina metro stop. Nice portions, prepared fresh...

Ignoring your sarcasm, it's a city that has really developed in recent years. Lots of skyscrapers, luxury apartments, and the Albrook Mall is huge. Opening the first Metro line helped a lot. Can't wait until they extend it out to the airport.

this was a good example of just keeping your mouth shut when a woman asks for advice. you give her advice but it's not exactly what she wants to hear. so instead of accepting the helpful bits of advice they go emotionally unstable and dig up a post that's 6 months old to release their PMS fury.

Nobody believes you were being helpful. And if that's the help you give, I don't want it.
