Chris Sale is a Hall of Fame pitcher in the absolute prime of his prime. He is Randy Johnson reincarnate. He is not some 31 year old who added 8 mph to all his pitches with "yoga" and "lean meats". This is a born and bred fucking ace that has had this league by the balls since the day he showed up to pitch in it. Arrieta will be forgotten eventually, a sidenote.. "oh man... that guy sure was great wasn't he? nice trade" Not Sale, Sale's name is gonna fucking reverberate through the halls of history.

The only thing that can stop him is injury. There is no waiting for the other shoe to drop like there is with Arrieta. Chris Sale IS the best pitcher in the game, just as he was meant to be all along.

Even if he's not better than Arrieta, Chicago has 2 of the best 5 or 6 pitches in MLB.

Problem for the White Sox is that, the rest of that rotation after Quintana is not very good; if they aren't hitting and these 2 guys aren't pitching, this team isn't very good - Sale is 9-0, the team is 9 games over .500....
