Ott has only played limited minutes.

Reaves has been a scratch every game.

Ott was a scratch in the first two Hawk games as well.

I'm sure we'll see his worthless, sorry ass at some point, but the Shark can deliver the goods just as well - or better. Look at what they did to Dallas toward the end of that series - they were smacking them all over the ice, AND controlling the puck.

jeez, Blues player skates into the zone with the puck, goes to either pass or shoot, whiffs on it, Sharks take the puck the other way.

last few attempts by the Blues to run their offense:

Pietrangelo gets the puck off of a Blues offense zone face-off win, casually skates back toward the blue line to try to set up their offense, some Shark player easily rode him out of the zone, Blues all have to retreat and action goes the other way.

Backes gets a turnover, stops at the Blue blue line on the way out of their zone, 2 Sharks immediately start to converge, Backes tries to pass btw them and coughs up the puck.

Not giving the Blues puck-handler any room has them stymied.

PP Blues with 4 minutes to go, still 3-0 Sharks.

Blues just tried to pass and it went out of their zone, on the PP.

And the Blues pulled their goalie with 4 minutes to go, on that last PP. Still couldn't generate any offense. or shots even, spent most of it outside the Sharks zone, trying to figure out how to get the puck back in the Sharks zone for more than 3 seconds.

Textbook game all the way around tonight for the Sharks. Looking forward to the Pens vs Sharks cup final.

I dunno, with these guys it looks like the tv is on 0.7x speed or something compared to the speed of the Lightning-Penguins.
