What do you guys think of this Thon Maker?

Not suggesting him for the bulls. But wonder if he is going to be a star in the league or a bust

I saw him play in one of those AAU jamborees on ESPN last year. Looked like he could have been the second coming of Garnett. The stuff that I've read on him recently suggests that NBA gms aren't really feeling the guy. Most mock drafts have him going in the second round. He has youtube highlights that will wow you. He has some real holes in his game according to the scouting reports I have read. In one they said that he was two years away from being two years away.

I like Wade Baldwin. I know that some might say it would be a little early for him...but the fit seems almost perfect.

Any guy like this I am immediately taking off my board if I am a GM. Love of basketball is basically a prerequisite for being very good in the league. Joakim Noah had a very above average career simply based on trying his ass off. I don't want to see any more Eddy Curry or Tyrus Thomas types here.

Depends how low you pick though.

Some players figure it out, or at least become a true professional when drafted. Others don't care and fall out of the league.

Who was the last guy drafted after 10th to make any difference?

Kawhi Leonard has turned into a decent player. Draymond Green too. Giannis Antetokounmpo also. Steven Adams has been making a difference this postseason. Not sure you thought this one through, champ.

As opposed to his other posts here?

Thank you,

I'm sure it's happened, but off the top of my head I don't remember too many prospects with questionable work ethic/competitiveness working out well.

They better hope he's there but I don't think he will be. I think they take Dejounte Murray. He needs a few years but they've got time.

Not at 14, but I'd love to see them get Caris LeVert if they could. He may be there in the 2nd but they might have to trade up a few spots to get him. Could be a steal.

Tyler Ulis. Though I am concerned about his size.

Thats the guy that intrigues me.

The little guy can play.

Great college player but 14 would be too early IMO. @ 5'10" he will be a very solid back-up.

He will be a star with under Tom Thibadeau some day

A report came out this week saying Ulis has a degenerative knee, and will probably need major surgery eventually.

I thought he had a bad hip, which is even worse I think.

You're right. I was wrong... Idk if he'll get drafted now. He was a hell of a player this year.

Denzel Washington MSU a winner.....this fucking Wade Baldwin haven't seen a lot of him I did see his clunker versus Wichita State and Vandy is just a springboard for NBA talent  I personally think this draft class sucks the number one pick's team didn't even make the tourney and has NO outside shout. However the genii pick has to start cause this team is loaded with shit
