Huckabee...I'm still amazed at the way he has became the front-runner in the state. That being said, I still think it will be Rudy's race to lose once the big states start their primaries...if only McCain didn't sell out, I would be gladly supporting him Thursday.

Factoid for all of you. Mitt Romney is named Mitt after the state of Michigan being shaped like a Mitten. Knowing is half the battle, GI Joe!

With apologies to anyone named Mitt, I thought his parents named that so he would get beat up a lot.

Huckabee and Edwards are in the mix even though they haven't spent or collected as much money as their main rivals. I think Rudy gave up on Iowa a long time ago. I still would be surprised to see McCain make a comeback and win the nomination. If Rudy is the best candidate then I think Republicans are in a lot of trouble.

Agree with that. As a person who is on the conservative end of the spectrum when it comes to abortion and gun control, Rudy is probably the last person I would ever consider voting for. If the Republican Party elects him to be their nominee, they are shooting themselves in the foot...pun definately intended.

I think Rudy or McCain have been shown in national head to head that that will be in close races with the Democratic contenders.

Rudy has got to be pretty happy with Huckabee potentially winning Iowa. Not only that, but then McCain could possibly surge past Romney out in NH given the hit that the Romney campaign would take by losing. I think there's a good chance that we're heading into South Carolina, Michigan and Florida with no front runner amongst the Rebublicans which sets up Rudy quite well for Super Tuesday as he has been running a national strategy for quite awhile.

Not if Hillary wins the Democratic bid.

GOP Iowa is over, but hurry--you can still vote in this board poll.
