I tuned in toward the tail end of the conversation, but did North criticize Letterman for going back to work while the writers continue to strike? As much as I want to criticize that idiot for not knowing his facts (big surprise there), I want to get my own facts straight.

What facts? Letterman's company, World Wide Pants, met the Writer union's demands. Since his company owns/produces the show, not CBS, they were the ones to do so. Leno's show is owned/produced by NBC, who has no such agreement with the union.

The union I believe is angered at Leno for writing his own monologue. I guess he's also a member of their union (as a writer.) Don't know about that...
