I've never been able to wrap my head around, or accept the psychology of the people who commit such acts. What is so devoid in your life to lead you down his path? What type of environment facilitates this level of warped and deadly obsession?

I don't blame a musician for refusing meet and greets. People who are sick in the head are a rampant issue in this country while the funding and psychiatric facilities to treat them are dwindling.

Couple that with the fact that the media/social media now fawns over every aspect of a "celebrity's" life, now today far too many people believe they actually "know" the "celebrity". For example, it was bizarre to view so many fights over social media after Prince died because some individuals "knew all the facts" surrounding his life and death and seemingly had to prove their fandom?!? It's as if it is a (twisted) badge of honor to know special things about celebrities to some.

Then again, by some of the discussions around here, some here seem to suffer from a bit of it as well.

I totally agree. I don't think this is a new form of mental illness, but it is definitely a far bigger problem in today's society with the accessibility social media gives to fans.

Proper bathroom etiquette is to look straight ahead.

You remember that and everything else is cream cheese.
