Happy for Cleveland but Doris Burkes voice is ruining the moment.

I was going to ask if she's supposed to be a parody of someone, like Ben Stein in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

She's a real hoot.

These guys are definitely better than any team over the last 25+ years.

Did you ever watch any of the 2nd 3 peat Bulls finals games? We're talking about games that couldn't get out of the 70pt range.

Ordinarily may have worked for me too but in this instance there was bigger game to hunt. The Curry love had to end. He is overrated as hell and thus he had to go down.

I guess they tried but Cleveland found them. They attacked Curry's no defense playing as every chance they got. Set the screen in order to get him matched on Irving or Lebron. Kept switching and they made Curry pay. They did exactly that on the 3 Irving hit for game.

What was said about him that wasn't true? I may have missed it but I only recall him being called the greatest shooter ever and the best player in the game the past 2 seasons.

That part? He's a system player I assume is LTG's position. Doesn't appear to be wrong...

It will become apparent who has the more complete offensive skill set. Once you see the number of screens that they have to run for Curry as opposed to what Cleveland does for Irving it will become obvious. There is no way that Curry has the off the dribble game that Irving has. Irving isn't exactly chopped liver as a 3 point shooter either. He has shot about 38-39 % for his career. Off the bounce he is simply much better than Curry. For their career there is a 2% difference in their shooting percentage also. Watch the number of down screens and stagger doubles that G.S will run for Curry during the course of this series. He can score off the dribble but he typically won't wear a team out with that. He needs picks and a lot of them. If not picks then run outs where he is wide open.

He also isn't a 4th option on Cleveland's team. He is their best offensive player to be honest. Irving consistently breaks guys down off the dribble and if G.S tries to guard him with Curry for much of this series he is going to murder him.

Called this one early for the record.

Greatest shooter thing may need to be questioned too. I wonder what his actual percentage is and how does relate to all time guys. He obviously hits more 3's but he takes more.

I didn't think Currys defense on that last shot from Irving was bad at all. Irving just made a tough shot.

It wasn't especially compared to his defense from earlier in the series and the game, but Cleveland had no problem attacking him. They purposely set screens to get him in certain matchups. Even J.R. Smith was going at him off the dribble.

Uh he's second all time in 3 point percentage among players who have attempted at least 250, despite taking them at a higher rate than anyone.

Might want to go ahead and stop following the NBA then. You're going to hear a lot more talk about it over the next few years.

You'll probably be the only one talking about it.

Yeah. Good call.

Prophetic. Very prophetic.

Since you asked about statements that aren't true, I thought it may be time to revisit this little nugget. Are you sure about this. He got destroyed by Irving. Absolutely destroyed.

Well of course it does ya goof, just like how snow in the second week of May entirely disproves any of that 'global warming' claptrap.

Then came LeBron, who pinned Iguodala’s layup into the backboard.
