Ben Wallace

At least Wallace had a career accomplishment or two before signing.

Bulls didn't get shit for him. Would rather have had future picks.

I know it seemed imminent, but it's still bittersweet. Always will think of what could have been, if not for Philly game 1.

A team of Dwight Howard, Derrick Rose, and Carmelo Anthony may be the greatest collection of playoff losers in history.

You have to align $$$$$$$$ in NBA trades, ya dingus. What team, in their right mind, is going to give up anything significant for a high dollar question mark like Rose?

Press conference coming in a bit. We'll see if they can complete the sweep and win that.

Bad teams. Kings, Lakers, ect. Poorly run franchises.

And picks have $$$$ value, ya dingus.

Nobody is going to trade anything of value for Rose.

You're not gonna get get valuable picks for Rose without eating an albatross contract in the process. This was a fine trade. They weren't going to do better

Good, she should be able to box out on the defensive end.

isnt rose's $24M expiring contract very desirable... ? and he could potentially not be totally useless this season?

lopez has 3 years left at $12M or so a year right? not horrific but not a steal for a 10-8 guy?

Not an albatross contract this season. Salary cap way up. 1 year left. Former MVP. Still can put up good numbers.

This is officially Jimmy's team now. I see almost no chance of them trading him as well.

Jimmy Butler this season:
• Playing w/ Rose: 19.5 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 4.4 APG
• Without Rose: 27.7 PPG, 7.2 RPG, 7.0 APG

Does he have a significantly better twin, too?

Rose has ZERO value right now. This was a classic dumping of a player. That's it. There was never a possibility of getting useful assets back for Derrick Rose.
