I won't hate it. They're freeing up cap room and Rose needed to go. I suspect that he will have a good season because it's a contract year. I wouldn't want to resign him though.

Calderon's expires next year but Lopez and Grant are signed through 2019. I'm ambivalent about Lopez's contract. It will likely end up looking like a decent deal given all the stupid money that's going to be flying around this offseason and it probably keeps the Bulls from spending an even greater amount to bring back Noah.

so the addition of Rose & Howard is going to equal roughly a 16 game improvement ?

Good riddance. I said it before in another thread - Rose was a cancer on the team, court and locker room. Other than one year as MVP, he has contributed nothing but drama and distraction to the organization.

For the most part, the city's media treated him with kid gloves in fear of pissing off Jerry and risking the wrath of being ostracized from his two teams and sports network. I don't think DR will be treated so kindly by NY Media when his drama starts all over again.

Sure, the Bulls were a better team when he was on the floor... if he was healthy and if he wanted to play. I have to stop typing now... I have general soreness.
