My knees hurt now ... I'm sure that's a good sign.

I see people of no particular reputation with no particular level of inside info saying this pick could well indicate that Jimmy Buckets' days in red are nearing their end.

I also see people that think the moon is made of green cheese.

I'm not sure which is more credible at the moment.

That was my thought. Dunn/Valentine for the future.

I've never been to the moon.

Turns out it's only a paper moon hanging over a muslin tree.

Muslin ... with an "n" ... careful now.

I'm getting a kick out of Celtics fans throwing a pissy fit that the league isn't bending over backwards to take their collection of shit for a "star" player.

Draymond Green is the worst thing to happen to NBA.

"We need to find a Draymond Green"
"He's a poor mans Draymond Green"
"Can he guard Draymond Green"

I played against Arthur Agee in high school and his son Anthony was one of my students. I know him pretty well. That movie is a classic. worked with some of the people in that movie.

The happiest moment in the movie is the mother aceing her nursing test. That is the life changing moment in the movie

Watched Hoop Dreams a couple months ago for the first time. Great documentary. One of my favorite bball docs. I'm not old enough to know either of the guys...I'm barely older than the doc itself

I'm getting old. Bumped into Arthur a few months ago and asked him how his son was doing. Son is now in his early 20's with a kid of his own.

yeah, that's what I thought. couldn't be arsed to google up an appropriate pic. didn't expect Turturro to look that much like him. I was thinking Barton Fink and Do The Right Thing era Turturro tho, so good catch on Jesus Turturro.

Spike Lee gave Turturro's character the best, or at least the most melodic/musical lines in Lee's classic racist rant-off scene:

always catches me by surprise who the DJ is who comes in at the end of that clip.
