do you think someday we're gonna have niche companies that only hire people who have been ostracized from the workforce by social justice? call it Bigoted Burgers or something?

Felony Franks food was a good value* but was crappy... that if you had patience to wait until they actually put it together. Every time I've gone there I felt like bringing a case of red bull to wake the guys working there up. They quite literally moved at sloth speeds. I used to live around the corner from there and watch the place go through its various evolution before FF, then witness the Signgate between Andrews and Fioretti. Anyway, crappy place, crappy food, worked in a pinch, given the choice I would have always picked Moon's across the street over FF. The problem was that FF's hours were much more in line with my being at home schedule. Of course now the food options in the neighborhood are much more diverse with Pete's, the chinese food joint, and the Domino's. Way outside of the price ranges that you could get at FF though.

* Value: combination of -
- weight of food per dollar spent; and
- # of calories per dollar spent.

One of my favorite parts of this board is the food police.

If you like ketchup then have it.

If you like mustard then have it.

I have never understood why people want to hold others accountable to their food tastes. Who cares if someone likes to put ketchup on their hot dog...

Agreed. Who cares.

It is weird, though... I always put ketchup (and mustard and onion) on hot dogs and brats until one day, it just occurred to me that the ketchup was gross. I wouldn't put it on now.

i feel like i'm a tubesteak aficionado. I've had Gene and Judes, portillos, and superdawg.

i liked superdawg the least. I hate places that require you "order right" its really stupid. ITS NOT A HOT DOG ITS A SUPERDAWG gofkyourself its process parts in casing.

i also laugh at people who complain about ketchup. we aren't talking about steak here. we are literally talking about animal leftovers. as much as i love it, a chicago dog is essentially a dog with a salad on top of it with all that shit. stop ragging on people who put ketchup on their hot dog. ketchup is delicious.

i actually like chicago style dogs the least when it comes to regional hot dog delicacies. give me west virginia style or cincinatti dogs instead. Buffalo makes new england snap casing hot dog that is really good as well. sahlen's i believe is the brand.

ketchup: tomato paste, high fructose corn syrup and a metric fuckton of sodium.

chopped up actual tomatoes infinitely better on a hot dog than any ketchup.

"RED RIPE TOMATOES, DISTILLED VINEGAR, SUGAR, SALT, ONION POWDER, SPICE, NATURAL FLAVORING"

all these things are tasty, too much sugar/salt in ketchup keeps it away from my dawg.

Anyone ever put vinegar in their soup? Tried it for the first time recently with some white bean soup, at the behest of the chick who made it. Interesting.
