I'm not really saying he didn't, but he has made a few mistakes. Should never have resigned Anthony. Fisher was a mistake too. If he is still trying to be a stickler for running the triangle then that's a mistake too. It's only worked when you have MJ, Shaq, and Kobe. His legion of Philphile assistants have bombed attempting to run that offense. Now you bring in a coach that has no background whatsoever with running the offense, yet you still emphasize that it be run. That's a mistake too.

Phil has also gained a rep for being pretty meddlesome in terms of coaching. He is really hands on apparently with his coaches. If he wants to coach the team then he should coach the team.

Phil has said publicly it has no impact on their off season or next season. That is for now. I'm sure the twitter outrage machine will force a suspension. Derrick won't care though. More time for sex parties.
