I moved my Mac Mini that we moved through the wall into an adjacent closet to clean up the look of the space. It sits about 4 feet away through a wood-framed wall and has intermittent connection issues.

Does anybody have any experience using a Bluetooth extender to try to bridge a gap like that? Any ideas on a good solution to boost the signal?

I've had bad luck with blue tooth keyboards and mice with all my Macs. I've gone back to wired setups. My kids use wireless mice with their laptops, and the mice come with that little antennae thingy that plugs into their computers.

Yeah. There isn't. It's not a dongle.

you could use wifi networking software to use your tablet or phone as an input device for your desktop

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/air-key ... 73446?mt=8

http://mobilemouse.com/

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/remote- ... 94596?mt=8

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/hippore ... 48996?mt=8

http://symless.com/synergy/ has an anroid client.

sourceforge.net/projects/synergyandroid/

so you'd connect your mouse/keyboard up to your wireless device and then share it over to the desktop over your wired/wireless LAN

My computer is still not working. And too much for me to read on phone.

But I'll check it out. Thanks.
