According to Stella's column in today's Sun-Times, MN and wife, were in the front row yesterday to meet Bush at the Union League Club.
He should have saved that political contribution for the hard times coming when his current contract expires!

Scary but true and he best part of it is, check out the guy in the background smirking. Knowing the Union League club crowd, I am kind surprised Mike was even there, now front row, that I am going to question.

I know Rahm Emanuel was front row, so money didn't get you front row, regardless, here it is.

Does anybody remeber the All in the Family episode where Archie is writing a letter to President Nixon? He was all proud even though it was just a letter. This picture of Pappy and Bush reminds me of that episode.

Bush finally met somebody that he's smarter than. Two meatballs meeting. What a picture.

It looks like chief of staff andrew card is over his right shoulder followed by local tv reporter ben bradley. I assumed he is in some area reserved for media.

Why would rahm have gone to this event?

Is Mike's hair on the sides combed forward?

Pappy - I don't care what dey say Mr. President. You'ze is doing a great job. Dis is a great and just war. I don't think you'ze is stupid like dey say either.

Bush - Thank you sir. You are a true patriot and a great American.

Pappy - I try Mr. President. I fight liberals on the radio all day long. (Pappy stands at attention and salutes)

Bush - Could you put the hand down? You're starting to creep me out. (Creepy George Bush laugh)

Pappy - Yes sir Mr. President. It was an honor to meet you.

You'd think with his kind of money Mike could get a better suit and a better fitting shirt. What's with that paisley tie?

Thats what Mike North thinks is 'CLASSY', that suit, that tie, those attempts at sideburns, he thinks h looks good and nobody is going to tell him different. It's in his contract.

I assume the suit and tie is usually worn with a black shirt, mafia style.

Mike more then likely thought that this was Bush's dream come true, meeting Mike North.

After meeting with North, Bush was relieved he wasn't the dumbest guy in the room.
And I think Bebe forgot to tell Mike he was meeting the President of the US that night, not the local mafia don with that outfit.

Then you'd've seen the black shirt with the suit.
