We have a critter (hopefully a squirrel and not a trash panda) in our walls. It's scratching and dropping stuff and rustling around. In my cabeza, I keep hearing Krusty the Clown saying, "How much is that gonna cost ya?"

On another note, my shirt sleeves are way too tight around my biceps. F-ing annoying.

Ha! I wish. I look more like Shaggy. But the critter in the walls story was true. You could look it up.

My wife had a miscarriage last week. It was a rough few days, but we're both doing a lot better now. Trying not to make a big deal about it.

On the plus side, its good to know that my boys can swim!

My youngest had hers done Saturday. I see the pictures on the walls and fridge, etc of the kids when they were little, it can't be more than a month ago. It certainly hasn't been easy, but I hope we didn't waste all that time. Maybe it seems fast because not all of those times were so great, and we forget those. Now, the time spent together is higher quality?

I'm very sorry for your loss Frank. I've walked a few miles in your moccasins. Between my oldest son and the youngest my
wife had 3 miscarriages. Just one is difficult. While they weren't born yet, you still lost a child. Be prepared for some people
who don't get that.

Sorry to hear that Frank. We, well my wife, had one last year and it was very surreal. We talked a decent amount about it with other people, it helped.

Oh dear. Very sorry to hear that Frank.

Came here to post something stupid (what else is new) but that kinda took the wind out of the ol' sails.

Been there a few times myself. It really is a miracle to bring a fetus to term. I think it happens more than successful pregnancies. That doesn't make you feel better

I can't sleep, so I'm heading into the office at 3:30 and will be tired as hell later. The only saving grace on these days is driving to work with no traffic and getting to watch the sun rise on the way in.

I presently find myself trying to reckon how good a tech/repairman can actually be at his purported job if the entire time he's on the phone being told what to do and how to do it?

There's a new front desk lady at our building where I work. She's been here for about two weeks or so. Every time I go out the front door, as I'm passing, she says very cheerfully, "Stay safe out there!" or "Be careful out there!" or another variation that's very similar. That's fucking weird, right? I'm pretty sure I won't get clipped 50 feet outside of the office while having a cigarette.
