Did anyone expect this team to be anything but marginally better than last year?

No. They also don't have the post-Trestman halo this year.

For a few days in April I kinda hoped so.

What's the +/- on this outfit? I can't imagine it being more than 7 or maybe 8.

I just don't want to read and hear the meatballs complaining about a team that would be overachieving if it doesn't finish last in the division.

The Bears need a draft where they are picking in the top 5 the whole time to seriously turn the franchise around.

I hope it's 4 wins so we can draft higher, but I bet they hit somewhere around 6 or 7.

Dude, we have Brian Hoyer. You know, the guy that lead the Texans to the playoffs last year.

Nothing quite says 'Bears Football' like a completion for 1st down over the middle.

Yup.

I know that Israel Idonije is a very large man, but Lou Canellis looks comically small next to him.

Why can't they get Taylor Rooks?l for the sideline? Give us a better reason to watch.

Ye gods ... I guess the Bears will get to run their 2-minute drill after all.

Bears close out 1st half on an up-note, blocking Denver's end of half FG attempt--something to build on in the 2nd half.
