With all of the rain yesterday, there's gonna be a lot of give today...I'd imagine that they will call the turf "yielding"...so I would go HEAVY on the European horses today. Mondialiste is looking even better.

in Race 5, equibase likes #3 (6-1), #9 (5-2) and #5 (8-1). #9 looks to be their favorite because of the jockey/trainer tandem.

Race 8, #1 (9-2), #13 (7-5) and #2 (30-1). blah. i think #13 is probably going to win but eff those odds. i like #7 at 30-1 as a long shot. but i probably will stay away from that one.

Race 9, #1 (30-1), #11 (4-1) and #12 (7-2). because of camps' hot streak i can't help but think about mondi but tryster is probably going to be strong in the race too.

I don't like these B level turf stakes. I made a small bet on Cordon in the Secretariat. I don't think that field is much and this guy broke his maiden in impressive fashion on the turf at a buck sixteenth with a 29 final fraction. Worth a shot at a big price.

Front runners are kicking ass on the turf at Arlington today....we may need to change our thoughts.

Those are Grade 1 races in name only and they won't be for long. There might be one or two horses on the card that will race in the Breeder's Cup.

Mohawk starts at 6:30.

I thought Kasaqui had it down the stretch. It was a close one.

Crooked Arlington scratched two of my horses, Dubai Sky and Decorated Soldier. Kasaqui was my third choice after those two. What kept me away from Mondaliste was that he was not consistent, hadn't won since last September. And he was not giving value for his odds.

Before I start picking winners, I should take them to show or place first. I left money on the table by not taking Kasaqui place and Zipessa to show. How did Zipessa not win Race 8. You had it!!
