Goff is awful. Turned 670 on on the way to lunch... terrible. Goff is hysterically laughing at some shit that's not funny and pounding the console. He was laughing so much at one point that it sounded like a high-pitched scream. You could tell Spiegel was laughing uncomfortably because it wasn't really funny.

I have a headache today, too.

How amazing it was in 2016 that people named "Whitey" were still alive. Then they were basically doing a Whitey draft with Ford, Herzog, and Bulger. Then they switched to "Blackies" but I got out of my car at that point.

I don't understand why Matt is even still employed by this station. I understand he got the gig because he was Mac's handpicked partner, but after that ship sailed, he should have been gone. That also goes for those other four, and he occasionally is entertaining, unlike those other four. He also doesn't come across as an insufferable human being, like all of those four except Hanley. It's honestly not close on who's a more palatable listen.

Wow...just happened to hear this the other day for the first time since he initially released/played it. SUCKS !!! I actually listened to it for a bit longer to see if it was as bad as I thought it was...and it just got worse. He sounds terrible...and the song is beyond weak. Low class production.

Well, your last sentence is a matter of personal preference.

Goff has never entertained me as the host of a show, and he can't even hold a conversation with a guest about sports. It always goes into some weird rabbit hole of inside jokes.

Mully and Hanley are what they are to me... not insightful, not funny, but they have a show focused on sports, they have good guests, and they realize what they are and are comfortable with it. Aside from Hanley's bad jokes, they generally just try to run a vanilla sports talk show. And it works.

Goff is also a terrible interviewer. His questions are long winded and he often tries to answer the question while he's asking it to show the guest that he's smart.

I think we all have moments where something strikes us as funny and we crack up laughing. Something that nobody else would find funny. Happens to me every now and then.

But with Goff, he has 30 moments like that during a 4 hour show. It's the weirdest damn thing.

Yes, your statement just seemed to be particularly vague. I just don't know how to dispute "he is clearly a more palatable listen."

I actually prefer vanilla, especially in the morning. I like to be filled in on what happened the day/night before and get some reaction to any statements, etc. The worst for me is sports radio talkers who try to be "CRAZY BOB AND THE ANIMAL ON Q106.3"!
