The preseason is not the place where coaches reveal their hand. I'm hoping the offense looks a lot better than this come September.

I'll be overly optimistic and have them down for a solid 10-6.

Gould suuuuuuuucks.

Can't make field goals, overpaid and runs his mouth.

Brandon Marshall was right to bitch him out.

Bears will end the season somewhere between 6 and 8 wins. The schedule is easy and Fox provides a level of competency. You'll never be good with Fox but you'll never be bad either.

They were terrible last year.

The amazing part is that the Bears seem legitimately surprised they are going to be bad.

Not that it really matters, but that injury to Connor Shaw was bullshit.

Bears football died two seasons ago. That last Trestman season was the breaking point for me.

The Bear's demise started under Lovie. Holding on to veterans maybe a year too long and of course Angelo's screwing up with the Draft, followed by the next Gm's screwing up. Not counting the current GM (yet),the Bears poor drafts have led to mediocrity than just bad football.

Yeah, reminds of Jim Hendry's annual lament that "obviously, no one thought Kerry Wood would get hurt again..."

I meant for me personally. I don't know if I watched a single game last year from beginning to end.

I think I'd be calling up the Cowboys to see if they would give up a 4-5th for Hoyer. I don't want him on the team.

Time for Pace to get on the horn and sign Tebow. Anything's better than watching another losing season with Cutler.

Not sure how signing a fullback helps..

Bernstein just sounded shocked when he said "I think might actually be awful."

How was this not apparent months ago?

I disagree. He has a good touch, as shown in the playoff game Steelers vs. Broncos.

Tebow has to be better than -6 yrds. passing. And it would give me a reason to watch.

As of now, there's no reason even to watch. I can find better things to do with my Sunday afternoons, like wash my dog and car.

You're talking about a playoff game 5 years ago?

Tebow is awful, was awful, and would be awful for the Bears if he was here now. In a league struggling to find QB's no one wants him. That can't just be because he's had a bad break with one or two teams -it's because he's awful at being a QB.

I'll pass.

Awful how? He won, something that Cutler doesn't do.

Cutler's had what, eight seasons with the Bears, and he still sucks. Give Tebow one full season to prove himself. It's all about WTW.

Teams have passed on Tebow, because he's a fundamental Christian and for no other reason. And you can't be a fundamental Christian in this day and age, which is just wrong.

The Tebow era is done, man. For a few years now. Where you been?

No I'm serious.

What's there to be confident about in Pace's signings of quarterbacks? Nothing. HE STILL HAS CUTLER!!!

Tebow at least will give you a chance to win every game.

I'm done with this franchise. They are beyond brain-dead, lacking basic common sense to sign a guy like Tebow for nothing when they have nothing to lose.

Its bad then if its a real thought. Cutler's only had two playoff games to his name and he was fantastic in one of them and got hurt in the second one. I still think they win that game against GB if he doesn't hurt his knee.

Now yes, it is his job to GET the team to the playoffs but when he's had the chance he actually has been good.

Tebow is a pile of trash. He was a bad college QB who became a worse NFL QB. I'd say his religion had nothing to do with it but that's not true, his religion is the only reason people still even talk about him. If he wasn't an outspoken Christian we would barely be able to remember his name.

No, people talk about him still because he's clutch and he wins. On top of that, he's a good guy, when the NFL is full of bad guys.

Hank, he was a horrible NFL qb, but he was a dominant college player. His stats at UF are insane.
