everybody else just needs to get a little worse.

Famous line about the Cubs from a SCORE caller.

Romo is out for the Bears week 3 game. Now Teddy Bridgewater just went down for the Vikings. They say it looked really bad.

So 3 games on the schedule just got easier and the Vikings and Cowboys will be shit. 2 teams that at the very least were thought to be Wild Card Contenders.

Wooooo hooooo!!!!! Bears chances just got better over the past week.

"non contact" injury to his leg/knee. Yeah, they said it's bad. Ambulance carted him away.

Do we want them to be better this year?

At this point, I will settle for the clear development of key young players and a record bad enough to ensure a top-3 pick. Maybe then Pace will finally feel obligated to draft a QB.

Wonder what non contact injury to your leg gets an ambulance ride and practice cancelled.

good question. brittle bones?

Quote:
Teddy Bridgewater suffered a compound fracture to his left leg. Likely out for entire 2017 season. Tough break for a great kid.

Same here. Sounds more like a heart attack or stroke. Don't really need to cancel practice and have an ambulance on the field for a torn ACL or something like that.

Hope he is okay.

Edit: or a compound leg fracture. I guess that is better than what I was thinking.

Teddy Bridgewater is an average QB. they will be fine with Shaun hill. bridgewater receives way too much praise nationally for not really doing a whole lot on the field other than not being awful.

Shaun Hill was a decent backup for the Lions a few years ago. Had some good games. But we haven't seen him in a while and he's 36 now. So I don't think they're fine.

They got a good defense. So maybe they can be 8-8. Just saying it opens the door for the Bears a little at the very least. Same with Romo's injury with the Cowboys. For that Wild Card spot.

You can now just give the Packers the division, though.

That's more like a horse injury. He must have been on Lasix. The smartest people in the world have determined that the maiming of Bridgewater has increased the Bears' chance of winning the division by 1.3 percent and their win total probability by 2 tenths of one win, to 6.8.
