So yeah, i just noticed that Karlos Williams is a free agent? wtf? i had him last year in my deeper football league and the kid was hitting a few home runs and seemingly a reliable option on the goal line.... injury notwithstanding he looked like he'd be "the guy" this season if not a bit further down the road cuz they got shady mccoy up there and whatnot.... but then somewhere along the way he picked up a 4 game suspension to start off this year and then rex and the bills cut him? wtf?

i ain't super familiar with the bears' RB situation, but if this guy is a free agent and it seems like he isn't an instant OMFG!!!! priority for other teams to scoop him up b4 week 1 (noting that a4mentioned 4 game suspension) wouldn't this be a no-brainer for the bears to take a flier on him? langford looked like he could feasibly replace 4te last year, but there's miles of difference between being a 2nd string !!! and "THE GUY", and then i dont think you have anything special in ka'deem carey and whoever else.... so why not get the kid in for cheap let him sit out the 4 games and if langford/carey fail to impress you've got another option with upside in week 5/+? and then if he sucks since he was a FA in the final week of training-camp/preseason you figure you're not breaking the bank to sign him (even if you "outbid" other teams) so no harm no foul?

unless i missed something where he reported to camp 35lbs overweight with a blunt roach stuck to his lower lip idk why you wouldn't wanna give him a shot when it certainly looked like he was going to be the future of the RB position in buffalo; like i said i remember the kid hitting a few home runs last year and then being reliable @ the goal-line to the extent that even without 15+ carries per game he was a viable low-end fantasy option (especially in deep/er leagues) so uhhh..... am i missing something here as to why the bears shouldn't kick the tires here? or am i barking up the wrong tree once again like my bold proclamation that the cubs should sign heyward over the last offseason?

hmmm, i guess he does have a touch of the eddy lacy flu cuz i just read >> The Bills released Williams on Aug. 20 following his struggles with weight control. He was also slapped with a four-game suspension by the NFL for substance abuse. Here is Williams’ post:

tho you can see the "logic" where the guy knew he was gonna miss the first 4 games of the season no matter what so he can chill this summer and "regroup and lounge put on a couple'a pounds and make plans to create the raw homegrown sound [of buffalo bills TDs]" (- jungle brothers) and then when rex ryan saw that it was a professionalism issue he got him upstairs and got him the fuck out of there for not committing to the indian and whatnot (prolly something about being an example to teammates)

BUT HEY NOW, that said, if this fatboy status is scaring teams off and his first workout is with the steelers (who, uh, i think know a little bit more about running backs than YOU [royal you, not FavreFan]) even if they say no and wahtnot, still the fact that they jumped on that shit right away tells me that they were hoping/praying for a possible home run guy behind their usual RB armada. so maybe you gotta go with shady character that was unprofessionally out of shape and whatnot prior to a 4 game suspension, but that just means the risk makes him all the more cheaper and all the more "Devil may care" aka "WGAF?" if he doesn't pan out after the suspension goes away... and it's not like he's instantly the heir apparent to forte anyways so uhhhh..... hey pace are you out there?

GIT-R-DONE BEARS. ALL THE NEGATIVES ABOUT HIM = WHY HE'S CHEAP AND IN YOUR PRICE RANGE FOR A CHICKEN SALAD >> CHICKEN SHIT POSSIBILITY.
