244-221-214--679. We dominated. We won all three games, and series. My average is up to 220.15.

That's pretty good. Hard to believe you that next time you could roll a 650 series and your average would drop

Last night, I subbed for my old Thursday night team. 215-269-216--700. I finished the last game with four strikes to hit 700 on the nose.

I have only six games on Monday night, but I am at 222.00.

Not my best effort. It was position round tonight. We were in first by one game, and we beat the second place team 5-2. #AllOverYourFace

227-207-259-693...2nd place survivor pot.

Missed a 7 pin and had an ugly ass split in the 2nd game...cost me a 700...

I missed a 9 pin on Monday night that almost cost me a 700. Nice shooting.

Corner carry has been a real issue on the last couple of Tuesdays...an ankle sprain last week didn't help either.

I wasn't there tonight, but our anchor Eddie bowled 300-268-255--823. 5 points out of 7. Second place team swept all 7, so we are tied for first place. This is the biggest money league in which I have participated.

Last night, one of our opponents bowled 300-300-229--829. It was as impressive a performance as I have ever seen. They took 5 fo 7 from us, but the second place team also lost 5 of 7, so our five point lead remains.

Wow,that is really impressive. The amount of concentration to bowl one 300 game is amazing but two in a row? The guy should find some sponsors and go pro.

He didn't even throw a practice ball. He started the third game with a strike, so he had 25 in a row.

Five splits...on the same lane. Tough sledding tonight. I was subbing with my old team from Thursday night, many moons ago. Lots of rough scores across the board. Back at it tomorrow, trying to retake first place.

The last month for me has had its ups and downs.

Last Tuesday, the pair next to us had an 859 and an 823

The 859 is the new house record at Poplar Creek. That whole team was dialed in...1st game they shot 1292 scratch.

We were just happy we bowled them the week before

Subbing on a Sunday Morning Trio's league at Hawthorn.

The team I bowl for is in the playoffs, which started today.

Shot 206-243-266 for a 715

Team advanced and it looks like I'm not only finishing this season for them, but I'm joining it next year.

But we are not coming back to our shitty Thursday night league, so there's that.

859? That's fucking ridiculous. I'm old enough to remember when just averiging 200 was a big deal in any house.

201-231-239--671. We finished in 6th place out of 14 teams. Finished the year at 217.39. 6th highest average out of 70 guys.

About a month ago, a guy in my league shot 258-290-297--845. Our anchor shot an 823 earlier in the year.

I rolled with a couple teammates today. A little warmup for the season, which starts Sept 6. I left three splits today, and covered them all. Twice, I covered the 2-7-8, which is not difficult. I also covered the 6-7-9-10, which is not easy.

216-211-195--622

Been a rough start to the season coming off the broken foot.

Struggled the first Sunday morning and the first couple of Tuesdays...then shot 655 this past Sunday.

Things are starting to come back together.

We started last Tuesday. It was in the 90's and humid, which made the approach sticky. Nobody could slide, which made throwing the ball extremely difficult. As I threw the ball, I had to keep my weight back, so I didn't blow out my left knee on the sticky approach. Somehow, I managed to shoot 244 the first game. 244-178-212--634. I was pretty happy with that, given the conditions. Guys were putting up low scores all over the place. Last year, I ended up at 217.39. My goal this year is to average 220.

The heat did no one any favors last week. To top it off, we were in front of the doors at Poplar...I think the high series on the pair was around 620.

If not for a ringing 8 pin in the last game (which was sandwiched between a strike and a double), I would have shot 700.

Eddie shot 726 last week, and 736 tonight. Somehow, we are 2-12 after two weeks.

Good shootin Chus

201-192-255-648

Couldn't carry a 10 pin the last half of the 1st game, 2 pocket 7-10 splits the 2nd, the front 7 the 3rd. We got our clocks cleaned...I was the only one on my team over average.
