Rodon starts the day by deciding the last two weeks of the season don't matter. I don't have much hope for the Sox right now.

Bernstein scolds me about understanding that police killing unarmed people is wrong. I don't have much hope for the Score right now.

Jay Cutler turns the ball over twice and then gives a "fuck it, not my fault" when the D lets the Eagles score. I don't have much hope for the Bears right now.

I'm just despondent about over my sports interests right now. I can either throw all my energies into my children's athletic careers so that I can live a life I never had through them or just turn my baseball hat backwards, get a big ten tattoo and declare myself a lifelong Cub fan. I guess I could just join the Peace Corps.

If you want to pour your football energies into something, you'd be better off watching Illini football on Saturdays than the Bears on Sundays.

At least then you will feel nostalgia from watching Lovie Smith on the sidelines. Seriously, though, I'd bet Illini football will be good again sooner before Bears ever are.

Shoulda hopped on the hockey train a few years ago. It's pulling away from the station but it might be good a little longer. CH will disagree.

New season starts 10/12

You were in my dream last night. Just people hanging out. I don't know exactly why you would have been in the group that was there but you seemed to know everyone. Nothing memorable but I tend to remember dreams.

I think it was shorts and a t shirt. It was a day time get together. Not really a party, just a bunch of people hanging out and talking in someone's apartment. It seemed like a good time. We did not really talk to each other one on one but in group conversation. I only referred to you by your board name
