I disagree. There is some talent on the DL that could look much better with some actual coaching.

I want to agree with you but I also hold out hope that Tucker and his shit scheme kept some players hidden from us as far as true talent level.

I think so too, and most importantly we are finally going to get to see if some of these guys can actually play football at a pro level. I don't trust Tucker or any of his staff to be able to see that or put guys in the right positions.

I think Jones, Fuller, and possibly Vereen can excel in this new system

I'm looking forward to seeing what we can get out of those two young DT's we got in the draft this year. Even under Tuckers watch this past year I liked Ferguson (sp), need to see more of Sutton

You need to believe this, don't you?

Ratliff - 34 opening day - cut after 2015
Paea - 3-tech - free agent
Sutton - 3-tech - didn't show much
Allen - 33 opening day - cut after 2015
Ferguson - here's the guy. he'll work
Young - 30 in Sept - torn achilles, won't be "back" until 2016 but a nice piece
Houston - 28 opening day - torn ACL, won't be "back" until 2016 but a nice piece
Lane - a guy
Scott - a guy
Dunn - ??? no idea but he's 22
Washington - ST guy. 25 so maybe develop into something?

NME, Young and Houston can play but they won't be fully recovered until the 2016 season. Looking at this rotation there will have to be some serious retooling by Pace. A poo poo platter.

Agreed. Hoping they can be a force to reckon with in the 2016 NFC.

A problem is they might be 4-3 tackles and there is no assurance you are going to be in that now.

This isn't your Daddy's NFL. First to last, & last to first happens.

The Bears now have the best head coach & the best defensive coordinator in the division.

BEARSSS!!!

Let's put money on it.

I don't even care about 1st to last, last to 1st. Who will have the better record. $100.

Easy to make declarations when no skins are on the line.

I would put money that Bears only with quality coaches and no other considerations are 500.

I would like to highlight your "best coach in the division" lost to the Seahawks 43-8 in the Super Bowl. He followed that up by losing at home to the Colts who lost a week later to New England 45-7.

$100. That way when you win you can "BEEEEAAARRRSSSSS" all you want while being a Benjamin wealthier. That can do some nice damage at Cooper's Hawk.

I'm not foolish enough to predict that the Bears will have a better record next year than the Packers. I don't think they will.

I'm not sure why you are all lathered up over this. I have not criticized you for liking Mac & Dom. I just think that Fox is a great hire & getting Fangio is an even better hire. Neither hire was expected & both are very very unbear like. Fangio is ascending quickly in the NFL.

Young has no position in a 3-4 - which is unfortunate.

I have no doubt the Bears will have more wins than the Packers next year.

Just playing market maker and allowing you to make some easy money. This isn't my Daddy's NFL. That was a quick backtrack.

Hahahaha. Does Scorehead even like football, or does he just like the idea of square-jawed men in positions of authority?

FAKE EDIT: Do Americans even like football, or do Americans just like the idea of square-jawed men in positions of authority?

Their two biggest run defenders sat against a team that was going to pound it down their throats. This was expected. Defense was pretty good in weeks 1 and 2.

Yep. Mel Tucker is probably significantly worse than every defensive coordinator in modern history. Bad comparison.

The Bears have invested a lot of money and draft picks in the defensive line, but it has looked pretty lackluster so far this season.
