I thought you get in trouble these days for calling people that in a public forum. Ozzie Guillen certainly did when he said it in front of an informal gathering of reporters. How does North get away this stuff when everyone else from Ozzie to Imus to the Golf Channel woman get fired, suspended, sent to sensitivity training, etc. when they make non-PC remarks? Just wondering . . .

Well.....he should be suspended, but Mitch and Paul wont do it. I dont have any great offense to the word, but I would imagine that anyone on any other station would catch some crap over it, but not at WSCR.

He definitely said just that. My first thought was.."wow, he's taking a shot at Mac"

Then my next thought & action was to change the dial which I did because "Mike's Rants" is the WORST thing ever in Chicago Radio. I had to listen for a little bit though just to enjoy the complete stupidity that is the MNMS. Like watching a train wreck I suppose.
