These same stations have given plenty of coverage to NFL players who have been protesting. They probably didn't give any coverage to the actions of H.S. kids because nobody (including Dan) cares. This is an odd thing for him to feign outrage over, and accusing the local media of being racist seems especially stupid.

This is even sillier than his condemnation of and demand for answers from the Lake Forest PD for not alerting the public that they should protect themselves and their children because there was a perturbed negro in the area.

Some High School kids copied the pro athletes, and the local media is racist, now? Did they have good footage? Did they have time to talk to the players to confirm they were protesting?

It an incredibly bizarre rant, and really pathetic for someone in the media as long as he has been to pick on the news team for a tiny market television station. What a total bully/asshole. Makes the station unlistenable.

It looks like Rodewald is now a morning news (hard not traffic) anchor for a Rockford station--one of the herd Bernstein called out. Now he's promising to do a "follow-up" on a story nobody covered. Odd. Plus. the Mayor of Loves Park announced that we would not seek re-election. They needed team coverage for that.

I worked a basketball game with him (Rodewald, he is an IHSA basketball ref) once...a JV game in the Fox Valley with like 3 people there watching. He used it as a chance to do a behind the scenes look at basketball officiating...I was not in the best shape coming off a calf injury and the tool didn't even give me a heads up that he was going to do that...

clearly his kid thought that dan was joking that someone could seriously think that 1) lebron sucks and/or 2) tebow is great, so he figured that dan was comically exaggerating and asked Dad to seriously tell him who skip bayless is...

...personally, i would have told him "he's my rosebud; like tim tebow he shattered the mold for us sports media pundits and "embraced debate" to such great success that i had to copy him and start yelling at my callers!"
