it's the little things that finished us off today. sitton getting that stupid injury = you go from 3 timeouts to 2 when JAX gets the ball with 57 secs left, and after stuffing them twice no matter what they were gonna run it again.... and i think they were able to run out the clock at the end? didnt get the first down? you woulda had 30secs to try a few desperation heaves to get in FG range..

but wow man, just wow wow wow wow wow.... 13-0 going into the 4th quarter and it ends up 16-17. to the fucking jaguars? remember when they were supposed to be good? fuckin lol.... but ofc a DB fell down to allow a quick/easy TD, a likely potentially-GW-FG drive stalls at midfield and gets a holding penalty to kill it, and then your new (racist?) guard from the packers proves that he's a deep cover undercover agent because he gets "hurt" to burn an all-important timeout so jax could run out the clock when the bears were stuffing them at midfield

It seems that the Bears have had no identity, edge or consistency since Lovie Smith was let go.

I know, I know, I'm going to get grief for bringing up Lovie in a positive light but facts are facts.

The Trestman era was the beginning of this downslide that has just gotten worse every season since.

No, I'm not saying bring Lovie back but for Pete's sake, hire a real NFL head coach that actually WANTS to coach and invest a few years in the team and the city that loves it so much.

Fox is just cashing a check before riding into the sunset.

I completely agree with you. That's why I'm 100% all in for tanking this season to get a high draft pick. Even if Pace is a shitty GM the 1st round pick is a toss up a lot of the time anyway. For me, being slotted with the 3rd or 4th pick for 7 rounds is a victory in hopes of actually turning the franchise around. I am drunk off vodka and wine so who knows if this makes sense.

Bears would have to go 6-4 the rest of the way just to match the 13-19 record of Trestman's disastrous two years.
