The Packers are not all that good. The Bears are fucking terrible. Between the short week, the teams playing, and the uniforms, this has the potential to be one of the worst primetime games this season.

You're in bad shape if that's the case. Ty Montgomery will see a lot of work in the James White/Darren Sproles role, and then Kniles Davis and Dom Jackson might get some work, but I can't imagine any will be useful. Montgomery might be ok in a ppr league as a flex, but he's a wr.

Doc McStuffins was insufferable when she just brought her toys to life and fixed them in her little backyard clubhouse. Now she has the alternate reality universe that she travels to. There are a number of issues involved as well. No time passes when shes in the toy hospital world, that means theoretically, she could be awake 24-7 in the real world. Sleep in toy world and then come back to the real world.

Yeah, it's pretty fucked up. At least the evil king character has some depth. It's not like Pete on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Every fucking episode, he acts like a complete twat to everyone, then like 2 minutes later, he pretends he's sorry and he gets to hang out with the gang. That show is proving it's ok for kids to be victims and to allow their abuser to repeat the cycle of abuse.

The Superhero episode was worse.

Mortimer Mouse goes beyond Pete's shennanigans and shrinks everyone down to trap them in his collection. Then at the end he says he did it because he wanted friends and everyone forgives him.

Insanity.

Most of the time Pete is just some arbitrary toll collector for some mundane activity.

"Hey there Mickey the Mouse! If you want to walk past the big yellow tree, it's gonna cost ya 8 marbles."

Then they find that the mystery mouseketool is a sack of marbles!! Oh joy!!


He only really plays the heavy when its a theme/story episode. Which makes sense because the Pete character was usually the bad guy in the old Mickey shorts.

Yeah, that was garbage. My favorite episode was when everyone helped Donald build his own club house, and then he told them all to basically get fucked and leave him alone. I turned it off at that point because I didn't want my happy ending ruined.

My daughter really loves Sofia the First. That one isn't as awful as it could be, although the Professor Snape character is really just a shitty sorcerer.

The Lion Guard is just pure shit.

We tried Paw Patrol once. I was kind of drunk and Disney Jr was showing Frozen. Daughter #1 had no patience for it. My wife hated it. Never again.

When my wife isn't paying attention, it's usually Looney Toones or Spongebob...#1 likes the old Scooby Doo episodes, too.

My list of issues with Paw Patrol is long and well documented.

An entire city relies on a 10 year old boy and his trained talking dogs to provide all the necessary civil services. It's insane. Police, Fire, Civil Engineering, Air and Sea rescue, Sanitation... I'd be pissed if my tax dollars were being poured into a futuristic lighthouse where talking dogs play Dance Dance Revolution all day.

I also don't know if he has to answer the calls. The mayor gets stranded on a boat with a chicken and calls him. Where are the checks and balances if he says 'Eff you Mayor!!'? The only law enforcement officer is a talking german shepherd that Ryder trained himself!!! Whose side do you think hes going to take? The only thing separating Adventure Bay from a full out dictatorship is the fact that Ryder is still a warm hearted young boy. Once he hits puberty and gets rejected by one of the local girls, things are going to ugly when Ryder hits his angsty teenage years.

I enjoy the now annual tradition of Rodgers' struggling for weeks only to suddenly and magically appear to have regained his form against the Bears. It's almost as fun as the tradition of the Bears making some overhyped young quarterback look like a world beater and get overhyped by the media, as they've so generously done for Osweiler, Wentz, Prescott, and Bortles already this year.

This needs to be a regular post.

It all stems back to that locked up wishing well. In the episode where Sofia turns into a cat because Amber wished the King was allergic to her. The king finally sets things right and wishes that Sofia is normal again. The well tells him he has 1 wish remaining. The kids ask him what the first wish was and he says its a story for another day but that it didn't turn out like he wanted.

What happened is that the King was in town one day and a lovely young lady caught his eye, being the King and her a commoner, he decides to pursue her and they begin a torrid love affair. Her husband is seemingly powerless to intervene and must pretend to remain in the dark. After months of slowly losing his wife to another man, he beseeches the queen to confront the king and get him to stop...if not for him then for the their young daughter Sofia. She needs both parents in a loving home.

The queen is furious to find out that King Roland is out doing his thing and so she confronts Roland and he tells her to stay out of his business. He's the king and can do what he wants. The queen is desperate and so she lies to Roland and tells him that she has been seeing Sofia's father. The King flies into a rage and goes to the wishing well. He wishes that Sofia's father should die in a tragic accident. The wish is granted but sadly the accident is a house fire and the queen is in the home warning Sofia's father that she lied to the king and he should leave the kingdom immediately before he decides to have him executed. Sofia and her mother survive but the Queen and Sofia's father are killed.

The King is heartbroken that he killed his wife and he orders the well boarded up and locked so that nothing else can happen. In his grief he realizes that he needs to honor the dying man's wish and raise Sofia in a loving two parent home and so he marries the widow. And we as the viewers can begin to find out what being royal is all about.
