If/When Terry retires, what are the chances of The Heavy Fuel Crew getting back together...perhaps for a daily podcast type show?

Would you tune in?

Webio II - The Resurrection

Maybe they could add North & Jiggetts, Shaer & Memelo, Coppock. You know what Ditka says about living in the past...it's for cowards and Losers (i.e. scorehead).

In general, what sucks mostly about Chicago Sports Talk Radio these days is that there isn't that one big show I look forward to listening to on a daily basis.

The HFC reunited could easily fit that bill.

To each his own, but while I listened and enjoyed the HFC back in the day, B&B has been a superior show in terms of entertainment value.

I'd tune in, but I'll bet the chances are slim of a daily podcast from the two of them.

A daily podcast is a radio show-type commitment, and Terry has already said he doesn't want to watch a single NFL game after he retires.

What's more, who is going to produce the show, and from what studio? Boers has equipment in his den, but I doubt it is much more than a microphone plugged into a mixer and outputted to an ISDN codec. They'd have to hire a producer, spring for full-on mic setups for the producer and McNeil, then coordinate the recording of a show. Even then, who hosts it? They'd have to find a place to put the recorded shows and drive viewers to it in order to sell ads against it; McNeil doesn't seem very good at social media, and Terry isn't even on Twitter. I think Dahl miiiight have been doing okay with his subscription podcast (he built out a studio in his house), but he is already back on terrestrial radio.

Don't get me wrong, the HFC uncensored is the exact kind of thing that makes a great podcast, I just think the logistics of it make it nearly impossible.
