I thought AM1000 might go with local programming instead of Mike and Mike the morning after the Cubs won the World Series. Not that Mike & Mike won't be talking about it, but this obviously isn't something that happens very often.

C'mon now, it's ESPN. Mike & Mike take priority over all at that place now that Patrick is gone.

I thought it was funny that Mike & Mike were backdoored onto the Score through AutoZone's sponsorship of the World Series. Score got cucked, Score is low-T!

Didn't AM1000 go with local programming after the White Sox won the World Series or the Blackhawks won their first Stanley Cup? I thought they had done it before which is why I thought they might do it today.

I don't necessarily remember....They may have been able to get away with it when the Sox won because they were the flagship at the time.

Is it possible it isn't the important story to the rest of the world that it was portrayed to be on the Score all day yesterday?

Was Murph happy? He seems like the kind of guy who'd prefer to be a miserable, "long-suffering Cub fan" with his little bugle up his ass than celebrate a World Series victory.

Top notch contribution, as usual.

It does seem silly to ask a question about sports media on a message board dedicated to that!

I turned on the Score for three minutes and the first two of them was dedicated to complaining how Maddon almost blew it.

Cub fans can't be happy even when a guy ends a 108 year old drought.

Mike Golic must be from Ohio. That makes sense.

I don't think so, Douchebag. That was Mike's brother Bob Golic, the former New England Patriot, Cleveland Brown, and Los Angeles Raider by way of the University of Notre Dame who played resident adviser Mike Rogers Saved By The Bell: The College Years

That, and the fact that the Sox World Series win & trophy presentations ended almost three hours earlier than the Cubs did.
