Why is the parade going down Lake Shore Drive?

Just head straight down Clark to downtown.

Oh, I wouldn't want to be there.

But those are great optics.

A shit show of suburban teenagers

It was kind of fun being on the fringe and not having to take public transportation with them

Pat Hughes had to introduce himself to everyone. That was a little sad, as was the muted reaction to Ron Santo. Maybe the fanbase has changed a lot in the last eight years.

I was having lunch at the ULC while watching some of the show. The announcer remarked that "I guarantee you they are watching this in the Dominican Republic, Venezuala, etc."

Of course they are. What else would people from an impoverished nation that has trouble providing basic nutrition be doing on a Friday afternoon.

No, ma'am. You'll be long dead. But I'll mention you at the rally.

The muted reaction to Santo probably gave Bernstein a semi.

"These are intelligent fans who don't romanticize the past," says Senor, as a shirtless Wayne Stylie throws up everywhere.

Maddon is being very self-deprecating and giving credit to the coaches, people in player development, etc.

Coach Chad Noble looks very "wacky" with his jersey on backwards and his Oakley sunglasses.

Well, they changed for a month and will stay changed at least through the weekend.
