Best skit ever IMO. Billly Crystal as the college recruited. Followed closely by Belushi as the Last Not Ready for Prime Time Player

I haven't the slightest idea the last time I watched an episode from top to bottom.

Kristin Wiig kinda did the same thing.

so hey, i don't watch this shit unless there's something like "OMFG DAVE CHAPPELLE IS HOSTING SNL!!!!" so i'm definitely not up to date with the current state of the show and whatnot... but tonight i noticed that you could effectively call this show "The Kate McKinnon Show" because not only is the obvious go-to woman on the show, but it seems like she's a centrifugal part of almost every sketch/weekend-update* they do, ergo "The Kate McKinnon Show..."

...not that there's anything wrong with that, because not only is she obviously the best thing going on there (tho i gotta confess that i popped bigtime and totally marked out for my girl Leslie "LESDOGG" Jones to the extent that i couldn't help but blurt out CAN I GET A WOOF WOOF?!?!

* = on tonight's weekend update that dumbass michael che HAD TO go and start doing a [much-needed / fresh / oh-so-clever] "LOL WHITE PEOPLE!" bit where he talked about how white ppl were enamored with trump because he not only paid attention to them and gave them eye contact, but he also gave them stuff like "a cool little hat" [MAGA hatted ppl show up in box] and rah rah rah blah blah blah typical fare like "LOL HERE'S WHY WHITE PEOPLE LOVES THEM SOME TRUMP!!!!"

honestly, at the end of the day i wouldn't be surprised if anywhere from 33-66% of all donald trump votes weren't for trump specifically; moreover they were votes AGAINST hillary/the-left/SJWs, especially those fine fine people who turned the last 6-12+ months of "political discourse" into a veritable ad hominem factory and featured one side rising up to do their best to bully the other side into voting for their candidate... and go figure that side was the one that champions all of the "no-bully!" stuff... let alone all of the hatred of hatemongers, bigotry against bigots, and of course intolerance of intolerance; in other words: who ya crappin?!]

Best SNL in years. They even acknowldged how horrible the season has been so far.

The only bad thing was the self pity of the Hillary opening.

What was the weirdest thing SNL ever did? Was it Sprockets? Was it Schmitt's Gay Beer? Perhaps Eddie Murphy as Gumby? No, it was Kate McKinnon dressing up as Hillary Clinton and playing a touching solo-piano rendition of "Hallelujah" because Leonard Cohen had just died. Fuck these people.

Well, we've reached the point in America where even Rongey and Shep felt emboldened to talk about how much they hated the election outcome at the end of a lousy Saturday night pre-bars shift on what is ostensibly a sports show.

So from SNL, I'm surprised that they didn't burn an effigy of Trump and call it a skit.

I almost forgot how great Chappelle is. Probably the funniest dude of my generation, IMO. Chappelle Show was appointment TV in college.

That wasn't even his best stand-up, but it was still better than anything SNL has done in years. And the sketch with his CS characters was classic... especially the white news anchor.

Easily one of the best SNL skits I've ever seen, but I am bias.

that should of been the entire show. dave standup. after the first sketch and a decent weekend update (those guys are good) the rest of it was as it usually is. besides kate, these people are marginal funny people at best.

True. Kate is a long ways away from being able to be marginally funny.

I missed this sketch initially, but this is good writing. It's funny and it's true... shows that a lot of these issues are class issues rather than racial issues...

The episode with John Cena was just...meh.

The Bubble skit from several weeks ago was funny: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKOb-kmOgpI

Sasheer Zamata's expression at 1:40 kills me. The guy reminds me of DiCaro.

Just what we need, more mocking of the Chicago accent in "Dyke and Fats". I need to find a safe space.

I just googled that to see what you were talking about, holy shit was that awful...I can't believe people watch this unfunny show.

Michael Che was the only one that got me to laugh last night. I did kind of laugh at Jost still wanting to cry over the election results. I didn't watch every skit closely but I don't remember seeing Pete Davidson.....again....way to bury the only naturally funny guy on the show Lorne.

Beck Bennett is pretty damn good. He is in just about every skit and yet he gets no love or acknowledgement or promotion. He has a Thomas Lennon vibe but less creepy.

So how much are they going to have to pay Ron White for Mckinnon stealing his bit?

This almost made up for how awful David Pumpkins was.

It always seems like the funniest sketch is the one that comes on at 11:55 every week.
