is weed considered part of the NFL "substance abuse policy" ?? i would guess that it is (and therefore the decent %age of players who smoke prolly just wait til the offseason to do it?) and therefore this isn't probably too big of a deal outside of the punishment/publicity/strike/etc...

...but it couldn't come at a more "perfect" time, you know, one where pernell mcphee was talking about #FOCUS and "the sky's the limit" during the last week despite being 2-6; then the the next game is a game where the bears came out and looked superior to the bucs on both offense on defense, however not only did the bears fail to take advantage of that initial superority to get a sizeble lead... they basically went on to completely shit the bed and managed to turn a game that they were still technically able to win into an absolute laugher of a "holy shit we're bad" --- and now isn't there even some possible achilles injury for jordan howard? kyle long out for a bit? jay cutler reminding anyone who saw a light at the end of the hoyer tunnel that the interception train is always on schedule?

I'll never understand this kind of violation. Does the team not have half a dozen trainers on staff that Jeffery can run this through to make sure
it is ok? I realize he doesn't do much off season work at the team facility so that could be one reason why it happened. Also, why don't they
get busted for this when the season starts? I can't believe that he just started using the stuff. He just got randomly tested in the off week?
