Where's Dave Parker?

I seem to recall Ellis Valentine having some amazing throws.

Different kind of throw...I was watching a special on the 1990 Reds on MLB Network, and they talked about how Rob Dibble, after being pissed off that he walked a guy, took the ball from the catcher and from the mound threw it into the center field upper deck, injuring a woman. Dibble met her later to apologize, and signed some stuff for her.

All Doug Dascenzo got out of it was a bruise .

Should Fowler not be resigned, I won't be surprised if Baez plays some CF this year. Not a lot, but I think Baez CF/Heyward RF/Zobrist 2B is better defensively than Heyward CF/Zobrist RF/Baez 2B with some starting pitchers.

Almora CF / Heyward RF / Baez 2B with Zobrist and Baez both moving around a bit.

Yeah I know that. But on days when Almora sits?

Dr. Ken was right, the lack of the Cobra, Ellis Valentine and Clements is disturbing. Baseball DID exist before 1987.

And you can never go wrong with Parker gunning Downing from the track in the 79 All Star game. I had to watch the closing credits of TWIB each week to see it.

Thank you, RR. That is the exact play I was thinking of. TWIB was awesome.

Here's the track from the closing credits:

Parker threw out Rice at third in the same game.

You think?

How about 2016 Willson Contreras, from LF or C?

http://www.bleachernation.com/2016/07/2 ... dible-arm/

I was at that game. It was incredible.

Too many guys just like him. I couldn't really say he was better than Harold Baines or Rusty Staub or a bunch of other guys. Andre Dawson is in the same category and he doesn't really belong in there.
