Yeah that is a pretty long driveway. Mine is a bit longer but it is just a single car width for a majority of it until closer to the house and then I probably have
100 ft of sidewalk. With that length you may want to take a look at the two stage and not mess around with it. The single stage will be able to do the
job probably 75% of the time but you will be really happy you have the two stage that other 25% of the time. I am sure there are going to be many
opinions on this and I am sure many companies now make a quality machine but my dad always had an Ariens and that is what I use now and it does a
great job and there are a lot of options. I believe I only have a Compact Series model which is rated to take down anything up to a foot or so. Their
larger models will take out 16-18 inches but you will rarely need something like that. The smaller model will do it, you will likely just need to make a
few more passes to knock it down. Totally a personal preference thing you need to decide on, and of course the Compact models are cheaper. I'll drop
a link to the website below. Like I said, I am sure there are other companies that make a quality machine that may be a little less expensive but I think
the Ariens is kind of one of the standard bearers in snow throwing equipment.

I had a 100 foot driveway, and it's a bitch. Go with the high end Arien 2-stage unless you pay someone to plow. If you maintain it, it will last a long time. I don't know what I'd have done with a shitty one during blizzards.

We get a lot of snow and we got a Toro Powermax. It is awesome. It is well worth it when you figure you'll have it for a decade or more. Even if it is just one snow storm a year that your snow blower doesn't work is it really worth it to go with one that won't work?

Two stage...I watch far too many of my neighbors spend an hour chipping away at piles with their single stage blowers that I take care of in minutes.

Last year was OK. We didn't get much. What did you do when we had 16 inches 2 years ago?

School was cancelled so the kids were inside. I opened the garage door, swore, and started to dig myself out. It took 3 scoops to remove one shovel plot. My neighbor came and dug me out. I gave him a $50 gift card.

RPB pick up a snow blower for spaulding and drop it off for her.
