4 on 4 for 3 seconds.

They got a point. So how did they do on the trip?

See?

Granted, they ran off the penalty clock, but the damage was done. They never even made it out of their own end. Jeff Carter is just too good.

Well, Hawks needed eight points on the trip, they got seven, which I guess isn't too bad considering what frauds they've revealed themselves to be. No wins by two goals or more in weeks.

In the last twelve games, the Hawks have either won by one (7), lost by one (3), or gotten the shit kicked out of them (2). That's a fairly long way to go without a remotely comfortable win. Their success to this point, such as it is with St. Louis and Minnesota gaining on them just about every day, is hardly commensurate with their play.

Do you want them to win by 5 every game?

They were supposed to suck this year...like not even make the playoffs suck. They are fine. Many of the kids are actually serving a purpose...which is huge for getting another cup or 2 out of this stud core.

How about winning by two every month?

If you go -5 across twelve games, you're extremely lucky to have taken 18 of 24 points.

Do you think they'll be there in the playoffs or at the end?

Their historic bad PK to start the season was partly (bad) luck too..that will normalize on the other side.
