both of them and more

You're not getting both this year.

Then the Cubs aren't getting Sale, which brings us full circle. The same applies to the Yankees with Sanchez, Astros with Bregman, Dodgers with Urias, Red Sox with Benintendi&Moncada, Braves with Swanson etc.

That's because both have played at a high level in the ML already. Cubs don't win a WS without both. Baez and Almora+ is doable.

It's doable for the Cubs, not the Sox.

If the Sox believe Baez and Almora+ is an insult I would allow them to look elsewhere. You're not getting Schwarber, Baez, Almora and others for Sale in 2017.

Last year the Sox could have probably gotten all of these guys.

Hendricks
Baez
Almora
Torres
Volgelbach
Edwards

You are Baez drunk Nas. At his best, he is a frustrating player.

I'm not drunk on Baez I just think him and Albert Almora are worth Chris Sale.

Theo and Jed will never trade Schwarber. They're in love with the dude. So much they let him in the draft room and asked for his opinion on players.

There is plenty of ammo in the Cubs minor leagues to create a package around Baez.

Though, Boston is probably still the best option as that system is none of Dombrowski's guys.

True, though I believe Vogelbach is a bum, The Sox are drafting Jerry's neices and nephews in the 38th round while the Cubs are grabbing Carl Edwards.

You say that like Schwarber is some kind of "can't miss". He's got a .245 career average over about 300 at-bats. You sound like the fan of any team who wants to trade for a top guy but doesn't want to give up anyone who you really like. Maybe you can mention Vogelbach next. If I'm the Sox I'd want Baez, Almora, and three more good prospects with two of them being pitchers. I'd be looking for a similar deal from anyone.

The guy is 23 and has proven he shows up big in post season games (5 hr~10 RBI) in small # at bats, he's hot a lot of power...I'd pencil him in @ 1st base in Comiskey and watch him crush 35 hr and 100 RBI..Schwarber and Abreu is a great 3-4 .

If the Cubs hadn't won the WS, I'd say there was a 100% chance of moving Schwarber to the American League. But now that the Cubs have a long honeymoon period, Theo will likely keep his teddy bear and hope the DH is brought to the NL in the next year or two.

Not really. He's a bat. Probably like Napoli. No big deal.

He's a GREAT at bat with a lot of winning intangibles. He's not a Napoli.

Schwarber is Big Papi. Napoli hit 30+ home runs once in his career. Schwarber will do that annually if he's healthy.

 Another Cub prospect who is a Hall of Famer? Where are RPB and RFDC to eaplain how no Cub fans ever say that shit? I highly doubt Schwarber will have the career Napoli already has.

You know them when you see them. He did something in the WS that very few hitters could do. The Cubs were 3-1 with him in the lineup.
