Hats off to him for securing that contract, but damn has he fallen off a cliff.

As for Lopez, I never in my wildest dreams saw him contributing anything on the offensive end but he sure as hell has. It's crazy that the Knicks let him go considering he's exactly what they need right now.

You two gonna fuck or what?

Yeah they are playing Monte O'Quinn and a few rookies at the 5 as backups. Noah doesn't even play during the 4th quarter much.

Minnesota's D is horrendous. I've seen like 5 back cuts for layups in 5 minutes of viewing.

That is why I don't think they will improve much. They don't have very good individual defenders. Thibs will try and scheme but that only does so much. Lavine Wiggins and Towns really have no interest in guarding and their two best individual defenders Rubio and Dunn can't score.

Bulls just going through the motions here in the 2nd quarter.

Gotta learn to keep the foot on the gas and someone needs to stop Niko from taking ill advised 3's.

Agree with all of this. When Towns puts it together I'm not sure if there will be a better player in the league.

Lowest i.q. of any professional basketball player that I've ever seen. He needs to stop playing Isaiah Canaan. Know Rondo and MCW are out but I'd try Valentine instead of that bum.

I'd still take Davis over him.

i hate to go all thunder on you, but jimmy's been playing some heroball tonight, especially in the first quarter (i havent been able to watch as much of the 2nd quarter, as i just checked back to see it's 55-37 and i wish the bulls had karl anthony towns cuz goddamn that top of the key ball-fake to drive to back-pass to dieng on the baseline was sweet) -- but yeah, i believed it from the getgo that "this is jimmy's team" cuz d-wade is here to make some $$$ and essentially mentor jimmy on how to go HAM/carpe-diem as a star...

...you know, what jimmy wanted to get from derrick; superstar training! =D

Yeah the Cannan experience, I think I've had enough.

And I don't think you can go forward having Niko and McDermott on the team together and especially not on the floor at the same time against good teams. At this point, I trust Doug's offensive game 10x more than Mirotic's.

Butler does have those moments of "I'm taking this possession all for me no matter the circumstances" and ends up forcing a lot of shots. That said, it's something to marvel at the way he's able to draw fouls even though it's obvious he's initiating all the contact.

We'll see if you feel that way in a couple of years. He's ahead of where Davis was.

Unless there's an injury, it's going to be one hell of a comparison for years to come.

The Bulls don't need to worry. The Wolves will do what the Wolves do in the end.

I'm not sure. I have a bad feeling about this. Butler still seems shook up from earlier, playing really passive now. He's gotta start taking over.

Rondo's numbers aren't great this year but they really do miss him when he sits. He gets Taj those easy elbow jumpers and is better at feeding Lopez than Wade or Butler.

Wolves are all athletes. They will need to add veteran shooting and workhorses to the roster.

You can at least be pretty sure that in a half-court set you'll get a decent shot when he's running the offense.

I agree he has that potential but I'm not sure he will ever become that good. Will need drastic improvement on defense. Once LeBron finally slows down Kawhi will wear the crown for awhile after that.

Lopez and Taj have about 30 points combined. Wade and Butler have to play better.
